i have a dream by martin luther king

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

I have a dream today!

I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of "interposition" and "nullification" -- one day right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.

I have a dream today!

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight; "and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together."2
My country 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing.
Land where my fathers died, land of the Pilgrim's pride,
From every mountainside, let freedom ring!
And if America is to be a great nation, this must become true.
And so let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire.
Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York.
Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania.
Let freedom ring from the snow-capped Rockies of Colorado.
Let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of California.
But not only that:
Let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia.
Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee.
Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi.
From every mountainside, let freedom ring.
And when this happens, when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual:

Free at last! Free at last!

Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!3

My vacation trip to the UK

My father came and told us that we are going to the UK. We went by Gulf Air. We flew from Riyadh to Manama, Bahrain. From Bahrain, it took us about 6 hours to London.

We arrived in  London, UK at terminal 4 Heathrow International Airport. The airport was good and amazing. We took a hotel taxi and went to Lexham Gardens hotel. In evening we went to see the aquarium and London Eye. Then we also saw the Big Ben. I saw the Shard which was a huge skyscraper. Then we went to eat dinner at our family friend's house. Next day we went near Green Park where we saw a live event at 2:00 pm. On the way back to the hotel, we saw Hyde park. Later on, we went to eat dinner in Mint Leaf restaurant. We also saw the guards changing parade. After that we went to Harrods departmental store which is one of the world's most famous destinations for shopping. I bought a formal pant there for 49.99 pounds. Later we went for Friday prayers at a local mosque. We then went to a Japanese shop and I bought a jacket there. Later on, we went to visit our uncle's house.

Next day we went to Scotland where we had an apartment in Edinburgh. We saw a  man with a stick in his hand and floating in the air. We went to highlands which was very beautiful. We also went for boat ride after returning to Edinburgh. We went to see the underground city as well. We saw so many Indian, Australian, Japanese and Malaysian tourists. Next day we went to Preston where we visited our friend's house. In the evening we went to Blackburn and saw swimming Olympic stadium from outside. We went see the movie, Barfi and then the whole boys group went to stay in my friend's house. Next day we packed our bags and left in the night for Cardiff.

We reached Cardiff at our uncle's house. it was a massive and a huge house. We stayed there for three days. We went to eat dinner in Bosporus restaurant. The next day we went for shopping in Marks and Spencer and we ate dinner in Lilos restaurant. The next day I went with my brother to the plane area where he was flying the plane and I was clicking pictures from the plane. After that we went back to the house and I packed my bags. We left for Heathrow by car and our flight was at 9:00 pm. We arrived in Bahrain at 6:00 am and left for Riyadh at 8:00 am.

I liked UK because their people were well mannered and respected the customer. If I get a chance to go to the UK again, I will go at any cost.

My Summer Vacation 2012

Our school closed for holidays on July 15th. We had been planning how to spend the vacation this time. There were many proposals. My parents wished to go to India, and be with my grandparents for about three weeks or so. My friends had plans to go for bowling and gaming here in Riyadh.
Faisaliah Tower Globe Restaurant
A part of my vacation I spent in Riyadh hanging out with my family and friends. We went to malls, long drives, restaurants etc. and had a good time with them. My brother was here from the UK during his summer break and I enjoyed a lot with him. We had fun at home watching movies, teasing each other and fighting all the time.
I spent the holy month of Ramadan here and made sure I was regular with all my prayers and religious activities. I kept all my fasts and helped my mom in during for the evening meals. We shopped for Eid and it was a joyous occasion at home. We offered the early morning Eid prayers and later on all guests came to visit us. In the evening we went out visiting other family friends and relatives.
INDIA'S RED FORT
In a couple of days, we left for a short trip to India. We arrived in Delhi and stayed there for about 4 days. We had fun as we watched movies and met all my cousins. After about 10 days we went to my grandmother’s house. Later on we went to my grandma’s house for a few days. This was the house in which my mother was born and spent her childhood.
We returned to Delhi and left for Riyadh thereon. Overall, it was a mix bag of fun and a boring vacation.

INDIAN REVOLUTION

INDIAN REVOLUTION

The term Indian Independence Movement encompasses a wide area of political organisations, philosophies, and movements which had the common aim of ending first British East India Company rule, and then British imperial authority, in parts of South Asia. The independence movement saw various national and regional campaigns, agitations and efforts, some nonviolent and others not so.

During the first quarter of the 19th century, Rammohan Roy introduced modern education into India. Swami Vivekananda was the chief architect who profoundly projected the rich culture of India to the west at the end of 19th century. Many of the country's political leaders of the 19th and 20th century, including Mahatma Gandhi and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, were influenced by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda

The first organized militant movements were in Bengal, but they later took to the political stage in the form of a mainstream movement in the then newly formed Indian National Congress (INC), with prominent moderate leaders seeking only their basic right to appear for Indian Civil Service examinations, as well as more rights, economic in nature, for the people of the soil. The early part of the 20th century saw a more radical approach towards political independence proposed by leaders such as the Lal, Bal, Pal and Aurobindo Ghosh.

The last stages of the freedom struggle from the 1920s onwards saw Congress adopt Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi's policy of nonviolence and civil resistance, Muhammad Ali Jinnah's constitutional struggle for the rights of minorities in India, and several other campaigns. Legendary figures such as Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose later came to adopt a militant approach to the movement, while others like Swami Sahajanand Saraswati wanted both political and economic freedom for India's peasants and toiling masses. Poets including Rabindranath Tagore used literature, poetry and speech as a tool for political awareness. The period of the Second World War saw the peak of the campaigns by the Quit India movement (led by "Mahatma" Gandhi) and the Indian National Army (INA) movement (led by "Netaji" Subhas Chandra Bose) and others, eventually resulting in the withdrawal of the British.

The work of these various movements led ultimately to the Indian Independence Act 1947, which created the independent dominions of India and Pakistan. India remained a Dominion of the Crown until 26 January 1950, when the Constitution of India came into force, establishing the Republic of India; Pakistan was a dominion until 1956.

The Indian independence movement was a mass-based movement that encompassed various sections of society. It also underwent a process of constant ideological evolution. Although the basic ideology of the movement was anti-colonial, it was supported by a vision of independent capitalist economic development coupled with a secular, democratic, republican, and civil-libertarian political structure. After the 1930s, the movement took on a strong socialist orientation, due to the increasing influence of left-wing elements in the INC as well as the rise and growth of the Communist Party of India. On the other hand, due to the INC's policies, the All-India Muslim League was formed in 1906 to protect the rights of Muslims in the Indian Sub-continent against the INC and to present a Muslim voice to the British government.
